“Futaba.” Akira pushes up the fake glasses he's relieved to have again. He doesn't know what he'd do without his mask. “Calm down. Can you start from the beginning?”
She sighs, hugging herself tighter. “Sorry. I, um…well. It's…easier if I just show you.”
Futaba pulls out her phone and opens the MetaNav. The troubled expression on her face disappears, replaced by mischief. “You might wanna sit down for this.” She doesn't wait for him to sit before activating the MetaNav's voice recognition. “Akechi Goro, Detective Prince."

With the successful execution of their plan to change Niijima Sae's heart and deceive Akechi Goro, the Phantom Thieves have overcome their most dangerous obstacle yet—but one obstacle still remains. Akutagawa doesn't know why he plays these games. He is not allowed to win or lose or draw them. He is the pawn to be sacrificed, the dog to be put down. He berates himself in his head, because what was he expecting? Blood on Dazai's thighs and blood on Dazai's hands and does that make him weak? No, because it doesn't stop there. Blood on his wrist, like a glove, as if Dazai doesn't infect the sickness just as much as this sickness infects him, as if he could be anything else other than a gaping wound and the source of it both at the same time.
OR
Akutagawa finds Dazai in the aftermath of Mori's 'session' with him. Akutagawa realizes his are not the only bones that break.
