Summary
“Where we goin’?” Honey says with a cheeky little grin.
“Out of here. Before we get arrested.”
“For gettin’ to know each other?” Honey asks innocently, mirroring MG’s words to her the night that they were properly acquainted.
MG doesn’t reply, instead dragging her towards the door and out into the cool air. She stops and lights a cigarette, offering it to Honey, before lighting a second one for herself. They walk to MG’s car in silence, punctuated by the occasional passing car or the faint sound of footsteps against pavement.
She smiles to herself as she blows out the smoke, sauntering to the car. She throws her cigarette out and moves to open the passenger door, but before she can reach the handle, she’s being whirled around and kissed hard.
“Thought that stunt you pulled in there was funny?” MG says lowly against her lips, nostrils flaring.
“Mm, you seemed to enjoy it very much,” Honey manages to reply between kisses.
“Get in the car, Honeydoll,” MG says, pushing herself off and moving to the driver’s side.
“Not that side!”
