Summary
Ironic, for someone like Sampo who always bragged about his supposed talent to read people's hearts, it turned out he couldn't be more wrong when it comes to Gepard Landau. In the end, he fell victim to his own hubris, he was dumb enough to assume that after two years spent losing sleep together over busy projects, Gepard saw him as more than a simple coworker, that they were friends…
...That maybe, just maybe, Sampo had a tiny chance with him and his feelings could be requited, not just the product of naive fantasies.
A broken heart, a rash decision, a ticket to a distant place and a chance to start anew. But, as Sampo is going to find out, sometimes all the roads you take lead straight to the very past you're running from. Especially when ‘the past’ itself decides to chase after you.

Summary
If anybody ever told Phainon that he would be trying to seduce a dangerous Kremnoan warrior in a rundown kapeleion so far away from home, he would have laughed in their face.
What does he even know about seduction? Nothing. Absolutely nothing, besides what he once read in a couple of questionable novels he found abandoned in some dusty corner of the Okhema library.
All he knows is that the impossibly handsome guy leaning on the counter next to him is just his type, and he never felt so attracted to anyone before.
Or, what if a young Phainon met Mydei for the very first time away from the splendor of the Holy City and the burden of their respective fates? The spark of attraction is immediate and none of them put up much of a fight against it. Little did they know, fate would bring them back together years later...

Summary
Sampo's mouth is parted in suprise and he blinks for a moment, staring only at the plain black, velvet collar around Gepard's neck.
Suddenly, he smiles. Wide and unabashed. Gepard isn't sure if it's that or the way green eyes snap back to his or even how Sampo's fingers tease along the line of the collar, but preservation he feels his blood boiling for it. A burning under his skin surely painting his cheeks with the fire.
"You're a bane on my everyday," Gepard whispers so awfully instead of acknowledging it. "I don't like you at all."
"Yeah," Sampo hums, eyes crinkling with his amusement. "So I've heard."
And then, like something truly, utterly appalling, those fingers curl over the edge of his collar. Prying between skin and soft velvet and tugging; a hint of what it could be like to give in to this, and Gepard is here to have someone make him give in.
Maybe that person is Sampo Koski.

Summary
There was a constant truth to the universe that persisted even through time and space:
Dreams were not your own.
Except, Sampo had never shared his dreams with anyone. All he had were the creations of his own unfortunate mind, and an Aeon-fuelled will to never sleep at all in order to escape it.
In comparison, Gepard had spent her entire life being told to forget about the fantastical nature of the dreams she saw. There was a certain image that came with being Gepard Landau, you see, and anything that fell out of place had to be quickly swept under the rug. Her dreams and her scars and her wants.
Because Gepard wanted. She wanted a soulmate who would stay. She wanted to not be plagued by war. She wanted to be a man. It didn't matter, though. Gepard had to remind herself this:
She could want for eternity, but in the end she could not have.
Right?

Alternatively: How Sampo and Gepard share a dream and slowly come to realise all the ways they're intertwined. With a few bumps along the way, of course.

Summary
Phainon seems to pick up on his thinly veiled dismissal, his smile falling.
“I—yeah. Yes. You’re right, I’m sorry. Um—”
“Goodnight, Phainon,” Mydei says, a touch gentler, pushing off the railing and heading back to the door.
He can just barely hear Phainon’s soft, “Goodnight, Mydeimos,” before he’s shutting the chamber door behind him.
Or: a mutual, unprompted kiss is left unresolved. Mydei and Phainon aren't quite sure how to breach the subject.
