    Because in his other pocket was the Asmodean crystal, still soldered into its delicate metal frame.
    Because the day before, everything had been ruined, and it was all Stolas’ fault.

    This is how I'm dealing with waiting for the new episodes to come out, so until they do I'm going to write my own idea of what the rest of the season may look like (specifically focusing on Stolas and Blitz, because I'm not a showrunner I'm just a slut).

    After saving the world three times, you would think that Hamato Leonardo wouldn’t have a care in the world. Unfortunately, the self proclaimed face-man was always looking to subvert expectations. This particular topic was one they’d always danced around but now that they were certifiable Heroes, he figured he could spend some time worrying about it now.

    As a mutant turtle teenager who was also a ninja, Hamato Leonardo never thought he would be able to meet his soulmate.

    tl;dr Leo wants to find his soulmate and is willing to throw himself (and his brothers) headlong into a new mission to do so.

    In the midst of making peace with his death at the hands of the Krang, Master Leonardo is thrown over two decades into the past, courtesy of his little brother.

    Now faced with the challenges of reconnecting with a family he’d thought lost to him forever, the constant reminders of his past failures, and the antics of his sixteen year old self, Leon swiftly concludes he’s too old for this, and has to wonder if it’d been better had he not returned at all.

    Leonardo is dead.

    Or, at least, he should be. Instead, he is floating within a colorful vortex that reminds him too much of his own portals. He tries not to think too much about it. But, eventually he is forced to when the vortex spits him out into a world that used to be his home, many, many years ago.

     

    Or; the one where Future!Leo somehow managed to luck out on a one in a million mere millisecond chance of a freak glitch in the space-time continuum that sends him back into the present, where the Invasion has been successfully driven back. And it looks like it was a one-way ticket travel.

    Obviously, everybody is So Very Normal about this.
