Summary
Will is in his last semester in New York, trying to get through finals and not think too hard about the people he left behind. He doesn’t expect to see Mike ever again after they lose touch for 3 years. Little did he know there was an exchange student that would also be their model for the next portraiture exam. Little did he know his name would be Michael Wheeler.
Will doesn’t need to look at Mike to draw him.
Three years haven’t changed that. His hands still know what to do, even when he refuses to meet Mike’s eyes.
Mike notices almost immediately and spends the entire exam watching Will instead.Or: two people who haven’t spoken in years realize, maybe a little too late, that nothing important ever really went away. They remind each other that some feelings don’t disappear just because you refuse to name them.

Summary
Will breaks his year-long relationship with Carlton, the guy he met at the bar when he first came to New York. After a call, that Will starts with Mike, Mike comes up with the idea to move from Hawkins to New York to help with Will's rent and be his roommate. Once again, the best friends are together. This story will be post-season 5 and will follow both Will and Mike as they navigate living with each other in New York. Will they both eventually fall in love, once again?
