Summary
Tara expected a lot of things from the alien horde that swept the Accord and dismantled its military in a mere matter of years. But the Compact doesn't tolerate failing to express your needs - and as Tara learns this skill, she finds herself wondering if it'd actually be that bad...

Cerite enjoyed their work - it was satisfying - but that was before the Compact invaded. They've since been cast adrift, not sure what to do with themselves or their time, or how they fit. But when Cyathae Medullaris is assigned to a wellness check for them, things start to turn around.
