    "Oh, I have a reservation, actually," Xie Lian said, suddenly remembering the real reason he was there.

    "No, you haven't," Hua Cheng's eyebrow rose, and his smile took on a playful amusement that Xie Lian had missed, "I'd remember seeing your name on the list if you did."

    "Right," Xie Lian smiled sheepishly, wishing the floor would open up and swallow him when he explained, "That's because it's not under my name. It's under—"

    "Your date's name," Hua Cheng nodded slowly, as if the pieces of the puzzle were beginning to fit together, "Right. Obviously, because you're at a fancy restaurant, and you look like that."

    "Like what?" Xie Lian looked down at himself, suddenly far more self-conscious than he had been all evening.

    "Nothing," Hua Cheng laughed gently, the sound fading as he took a moment to really look at Xie Lian and said, "You look… even better than I remembered."

    Hua Cheng immediately grabbed his hips again and tugged him away, a feline smile on his lips.
    “I thought gege was going to be good for his San Lang?”, he drawled, languidly pushing the plug further in with his fingertips, “it’s my birthday present, after all. I want to see you come with just the toy inside of you.”

    Xie Lian gets a little reckless with his sex toys. Hua Cheng couldn't have asked for a better birthday present.

    Hua Cheng is smitten with Xie Lian from almost the first moment she sees her, when the woman turns up at her flower shop and asks for help in picking out a plant for her apartment.

    But then Xie Lian keeps returning, seemingly cursed with the inability to keep any plant alive for longer than two weeks.

    Hua Cheng doesn't mind though, not if it means she gets to spend time with her jiejie.

    “Jiejie,” she breathes, disbelieving, “what did you do to it?”

    Hua Cheng doesn’t want to sound incredulous, she truly doesn’t, but she’s never seen anyone manage to kill an aloe plant before.

    Shaking his head, Xie Lian carefully pulled off a piece from a baked bun, glancing up at Hua Cheng as he tucked it between his lips.
    Hua Cheng’s gaze fell to his mouth.
    “I do not”, Xie Lian mulled, chewing thoughtfully on the pastry.
    The inhale Hua Cheng took in response was deep, yet silent.
    “…Does San Lang?”

    Xie Lian doesn't know how to give someone a hickey. Hua Cheng is kind enough to teach him.
