Summary
Izuku Midoriya is a 14-year-old rabbit hybrid who is hopelessly in love with his childhood friend. Said childhood friend just so happens to be a wolf hybrid named Katsuki Bakugou who is also very in love. Of course, though, why would their lives ever be simple.
This is a low key comedy/crackfic. I put underage as a thing because some people would consider this underage. However, not only does this take place in Japan, where the age of consent is 13, but it's a completely separate world from our own where the rules are very different for many reasons. If you don't like this, don't read it.

Kacchan slides a very familiar letter across the table to him and asks, “What the fuck is this?”
Izuku really feels like he’s about to explode.
Because that letter is possibly the culmination of the biggest feelings he’s ever had: love, and all of it for Kacchan.
Izuku wrote it at thirteen. When he knew that his best friend since diapers would never return the feelings, but Izuku felt like they were so heavy they needed to be shared.
He wrote the letter, poured his aching, crushing tween heart out onto two and a half pages of college ruled notebook paper, and addressed it in his best calligraphy. To: Kacchan. Izuku remembers his thirteen year old self debating before adding on a little explosion sticker.
Now, at seventeen, he’s debating the pros and cons of jumping out of the nearest window.
OR: Izuku writes Katsuki a love letter. 4 years later, Katsuki receives it. Izuku is still very much in love with him, and Katsuki is very much not.

“Do you know who Denki’s other friend that wanted a piercing was?” God he was so nervous to ask that the whole time he’d been there. Denki had told him that he had a friend that wanted a piercing too, and Kirishima had mentioned a ‘Kats’ earlier.
“Yup. Me.” He said it casually, still not looking up at him, but eyeing the pictures he had included in a folder. He couldn’t decipher the look on Bakugou’s face while he eyed the pictures, and it was making him uneasy.
“Oh, you want me to give you a piercing?”
Or: Izuku loves doing piercings and is new to town, Bakugo is looking for someone to give him a piercing, and they fall into something neither of them were expecting.

For the past elven or so years Izuku did not once think he'll be seeing his childhood friend again. When you take into consideration what happened back in their last day in middle school, where everything was left on a sour note, anyone within earshot back then would come to one conclusion that what semblance of friendship left between the two was burnt to dust. Izuku didn't hope that he'll see Kacchan again, and even if they did it sure as hell ain't going to be pretty. So as someone who hates confrontation until the last minute of course his reaction was incredibly 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦...
He turned the other direction and booked it, you know like a fucking coward that he was.
