Micah flicked his cigarette to the side, snorting. Sinuses cleared as he spat out, he inhaled the scent again. Arthur would soon be ripe for the taking.
“I was thinkin’, Dutch,” he said, sidling up to the tent casual as can be, thumbs in belt loops. “Maybe it’d be better to have Morgan ride it out outside of camp. Don’t want to let everyone get distracted from their jobs.”
Dutch didn’t look up from the pages of his book, but he’d stilled. He was listening.
