Ah, yes, 1960s.
The air smells of milkshakes, fries, and racism (of course). Kennedy, in all his glory, will be assassinated in Texas and LBJ will go on to rebrand his New Frontier into the Great Society.
The Beatles were all the rage, but couldn’t perform live because all anyone could hear was screaming from the fans. Elvis had been drafted in ‘58, but was still popular and missed.
In pop culture, of course, there seemed to be a stark divide between teenagers, the popular and the unpopular. The Wanteds and Unwanteds. The straight-laced, clean-cut boys and the rock-and-roll loving, motorcycle riding rebels.
Despite popular opinion, however, the “Greasers” and “Socs” didn’t hate each other. In fact, some were dating each other and were friends. They’d moved past the idea that they couldn’t get along.
Unless it was Park Jimin. But, he just hated Jeon Jungkook— and no one knew why.
