    Haechan, better than anyone, knew exactly how Mark was wired. His little lion was inherently curious, an endless sponge for knowledge, relentlessly driven to chase down whatever caught his interest. Mark viewed the world through a lens that demanded one of two things: either you had to be a total genius to grasp the existential questions he asked himself and respect his need to find the answers; or you had to be so freaking hopelessly in love with him, like Haechan was—to accept that the price of loving him was a grief, absolute agony, yet worth every damn second. So, if Haechan kept Mark here, he'd be destroying everything he had built while staying by his side for all those years. And future Haechan would absolutely loathe himself if he let that selfish plea slip off his tongue right now.

    Yangyang’s eyes flick to the side. Kun follows his gaze, curious, but sees that he’s only looking at Ten who, in turn, is staring contemplatively at some of their Fendi photoshoot pictures Dejun’s pulled up on his phone.

    Kun’s attention snaps back to Yangyang when he amiably pats him on the shoulder. “Oh,” he says cheerfully. "I’m sure you’ll find an occasion."
