    i, personally, am waiting till i’m ready to savour the drops of part 4 of this, that has to be a testament to how much i love this, right?
    everybody has to applaud for this author and the author from the last ‘Takami Keigo | Hawks & Tokoyami Fumikage’ work i read, no matter where you are. clap in a graveyard even ‘cause
    the dual greatness of these BOTH has influenced me to scour for more of this, and, include it in my upcoming fic…shameful self-promo, sorry. multi embodies me in soul, i also have began writing for just this duo. they also MEAN ‘Minor Romance’ when they say ‘Minor Romance’, a great quality. the only line i personally saw about the tagged relationship with asui & tokoyami? it was about her barging in to go check on him and hawks teasing via wink from a distance. that has me hooked for how they’ll write them in Part 4, they focused on the more sweet aspect of romance there. apologies for the lack of added tags, but, my first bookmark sent me into a tagging frenzy and every author i’ve wanted to add here? they tag splendidly and that includes multi. TLDR: go read this, the commission is a plot point as well, but, i’m like a magpie but my shiny is toothrotting, platonic, mentor-mentee relationships, so, i got distracted.

    Never liked how Hawks never actually found a support system after all the implied stuff he went through, this is basically an angst/comfort fic for me. Need to rewrite some of these chapters. Anyways please read the tags there's some pretty heavy stuff in here even if it's just implied.

    The multicoloured lights that fringe the rides bounce off of blue and silver metals, illuminating clusters of people in the snaking lines, buzzed on sugar and drowsiness. Jovial melodies that play from prize stands swirl into a mishmash of tinny, electric noise. The grass is damp and lush beneath Keigo’s shoes, and the pleasant smell of wet earth drifts up from all the trodden places of festival-goers past.

    i have been slowly creeping behind this fic, like how the boiled one waits behind that tv screen ‘cause it’s that good. definitely, you should go and read the original, but, do not read the original without coming back to this! strict guidelines, seriously. as the author’s summary says, due to it being a one-shot, there’s more of an open ending. and true to their word, he finds support! not complete but should be soon, it’s left on a cliffhanger of as when i’m bookmarking! the author tags it splendidly, just, beware for you may keep going ‘awhhhh’ at baby hawks.

    trust me when i say, keep GOING and fare through the heartwrenching angst here. this isn’t so much about hawks as it is fumikage but, the way they explore the bond between them here??? chef’s kiss.
    it goes into more depth than most on the commission’s training and goals and, in the end, they do well and truly branch out and away. i’ll struggle to see them as mentor-mentee again! partially bittersweet but leans more into comfort after the hurt’s been dealt.

    tokoyami is more in the spotlight here but that doesn’t mean hawks is just shoved as a side-plot. he actively affects his pseudo-brother’s decisions and train of thought.
