“You can’t laugh at me, but…” Yeonjun imagined Soobin chewing on his bottom lip anxiously. “You can open your eyes, hyung.”
Laugh at him? Never in a million years would he laugh at Soobin, especially not when it was something that so clearly made Soobin feel a bit insecure. He thought to double-check, to ask if Soobin was sure, but the younger had already taken his time to be here, standing in front of him, asking him to open his eyes. Even if he was nervous, he must have been sure, and Yeonjun wanted to respect that.
He took a deep breath in, let it out, and opened his eyes.
After having them closed for so long, it took a few seconds for the bleariness to clear away, but when it finally did and he was able to focus on Soobin a few feet in front of him, his breath got caught in his throat.
