Remus shook his head and lit up by a lone streetlight, Sirius noticed the way his cheeks and the tips of his ears seemed to darken slightly.
“That’s what I thought.” Sirius crushed the cigarette under the heel of his boot. Then, he stepped up to hook his elbow with Remus’s and started walking them back towards the hotel.
“Besides,” he added, meeting Remus’s gaze with a twinkle in his eyes. “With a smile like that, how could I ever say no?”or

“I don’t need help.” Remus huffed. “I–I have everything under control–”
Sirius laughed, his voice a harsh bark. “The shadows under your eyes say that you haven’t slept in a week. Your hands were shaking at the bar, what, did you think I wouldn’t notice? You have no job, no money, and no food. And now you’re telling me that goddamn savage Greyback is back on the prowl for you? You are being utterly ridiculous. You are going to get your things, and disapparate back to my flat with me. Right now. I’m not taking no for an answer.”
Infuriatingly, Remus felt hot tears prickle at the corners of his eyes. “Fuck you.” He choked out. “I don’t need your–your pity. Or your charity, or–”
Sirius made a strangled sort of sound. “Pity?” And suddenly he was there, in front of Remus, towering over him, his chest heaving. “Goddamn it Remus! Why won’t you just let me take care of you!?”
He was yelling, and the lightbulb in the lamp on Remus’ end table shattered at the sound of his voice.

Sirius and Remus are going to talk about their feelings if it kills them.

As he opened the door to the florist and walked in, he saw the same arsehole from the coffee cart - the one with the inky hair and the tattoos peeking out his collar - sitting behind the counter glaring at a book spread out before him. Fuck. He did not have the spoons to be polite to this prick just to get some flowers for his father's funeral. As he began to turn to leave he heard the impolite fucker speak."Are the flowers really that off-putting, or is it just me?" asked the chocolaty smooth voice.
Fuck. Remus had always had a thing for chocolate.
