“Word Grace no understand is ♪♪♫?” Grace gave a frustrated huff and looked down at the computer. The translator software picked up everything but the last word perfectly, flashing an <UNKNOWN> on the screen.
“It’s a new word! What’s this one mean?”
Rocky stopped working on the suit, and put his tools down. He shifted his carapace toward Grace fully, and walked toward the xenonite barrier.
“Rocky has not discussed ♪♪♫ before?”
On the journey back to Erid, Grace and Rocky discuss what mundane things they miss about home. Rocky realises he hasn't told Grace about his siblings.

"You have no idea what you're asking for," Rocky snarls as he watches Grace slowly start to crawl back. There's a small pool of liquid forming beneath him and Rocky wants to eat him alive.
"Yes, I do," Grace whines breathlessly. "Please, Rocky. Please, alpha."
Rocky inhales sharply.
"Run," he says.
"W... What?"
"I said run," Rocky growls.
Grace squeals and takes off.
Rocky gives chase.

Grace is an excellent scientist, no matter what his colleagues back on Erid might have said once.
As such, he knows that with the right methods and experimentation, he can convince Rocky that they belong together.
He's desperate for it.
