Summary
He was almost a little shocked when the other man leaned forward, tilting his head up, asking for his to be lit as well. Viktor leaned down, obliging immediately. Their faces drew closer and the dim light illuminated them both, the tips of their cigarettes touching briefly until the others began to burn. He savored the proximity while it lasted.
They stayed there for a moment too long, swirls of green meeting straight black. Finally pulling back to release a plume of smoke, he honestly couldn’t stand the taste, but beared it, nonetheless. The man’s eyes never left him, even when he turned to exhale, he was always looking, like if he blinked Viktor would be gone.

Or, Viktor (humantruder) goes to a bar after being fired from his job as a policeman, he meets Dimitri (protag), they talk for a while before heading home together.

Well, yeah, that pale man showed up around their neck of the woods completely out of nowhere. And everybody liked him right off the bat, the slimy bastard! He walked soft and quiet, wore snow-white shirts and expensive watches; had a good vocabulary and impeccable manners. That tight little smile plastered on his face all the time, that perfectly neat appearance. He had this smooth, disarming charm about him, and always seemed ready to help anyone at all.
But he didn't deceive Misha at all. -

The death of the seductive woman has him in a mental spiral, but thank goodness he could seek comfort in the visitor in similar ways she kept his crippling sanity... but the difference between the visitor and seductive woman, is that he's going to use all his fears and trauma to break the protagonist's walls, piece by piece, until he's a raw and vulnerable mess on the bed.
The homeowner had other things in mind.

Summary
She had given him strict orders to leave the man be until he was alone, and the visitor was content to do so at first. But every conversation filled him with a new sense of yearning, an unbridled want to be inside those thin walls. Day by day he could feel his patience slipping. He knew She would likely be mad if She found out about him standing guard around the house, subtly scaring off a few stragglers so the homeowner would have fewer guests. ‘Mingling with variables’ She’d say before doling out some violent punishment.
And by ‘subtle scaring’, he meant lining the property with body parts, careful to never let the homeowner see him doing it.
But he truly couldn’t help it, and something inside of him felt that he deserved a little fun. The pale man was by far the best performing visitor under Her command, he’d slaughtered countless people without question, following Her orders without complaint. So wasn’t he owed a little treat?

Or: the pale visitor is obsessed with the homeowner and finally gets his chance to have his way with the man, againt Her wishes. The hermit doesn't exactly hate it.
