Summary
Shane Hollander goes to work everyday and every night he is protecting the streets with the help of his powers. He loves his life, he loves helping people, he loves know he's making a difference in peoples lives. What he doesn't love is the only other superhero in the city being major pain in his ass, with his curly blond hair and teasing Russian tilt. Raider is constantly trying to get a raise out of Metro and he's simply not having it. It's not until an unexpected visitor from Raider's past shows up and Metro has to come to terms with how he really feels about Raider and the lengths he will go to protect him.
Ilya Rozanov met Shane Hollander on the elevator to their work places and was immediately taken by him. Obsessed with his beautiful freckles and the blush that comes out when Ilya teases him. Ilya is never not thinking of Shane, except when Metro is in frame and he has a full body pull to mock and play with him. Nothing brings him more joy than being pushed away by a gust of wind because he overwhelmed Metro too much. When his brother shows up expecting to take him back to Russia for more experiments Ilya has to come to terms with how badly he needs to stay and protect the people he loves.

“Worried about me, Hollander?”
A few months ago, Shane would’ve called him an asshole and left him in this dingy hospital room alone. A few months ago, Shane would’ve rolled his eyes and thrown back a line about wanting to ensure all his patients were looked after and how he had a responsibility, especially to members of his own firehouse. Hell, a few months ago, maybe Shane wouldn’t have even been here in the first place.
But today, after the scare he’s had and the hours he’s spent really coming to terms with… well, everything, Shane just nods tiredly.
“I was. I was terrified actually. I haven’t left this hospital since I rolled in doing chest compressions on you because we couldn’t get your sinus rhythm back and your heart stopped.”

Summary
Ilya was stuck with Shane Hollander’s stupidly pretty face on the side of a mountain for the entire summer, with only a few horses, mules, dogs, and a thousand or so sheep to distract him.
He knew himself well enough to know that he had a hard time avoiding trouble, and Shane Hollander was going to be the definition of trouble.
He felt his muscles relax the way they only ever did when he was off the grid, free from the weight of people raising their eyebrows when they heard his strange accent or asking him too many questions about where he came from.
Out here, it was just him, the mountains, and the animals. And, he supposed, Shane Hollander.
Or, Shane and Ilya follow the path of Ennis and Jack from Brokeback Mountain, working as cowboys together summer after summer, and dealing with the feelings that they can only explore on Wolfbird Mountain.

Summary
Commuting back and forth between Boston and Montreal is boring, flight delays are even worse. Even MORE boring are the amount of dick pics on a certain app as Ilya's looking for some entertainment. But then there is Shane, Shane is only 788 meters away. Shane is a bottom (allegedly) and Shane has the most aggressively straight profile Ilya has ever seen on a gay hookup app. He just needed to make sure he wasn't a straight who lost his way, that was the only reason he messaged him and agreed to meet him in an airport lounge.
It was the only reason they kept meeting up after that, just to make really really really sure he wasn't straight.
