Summary
Justin, Monty, Bryce, and Zach didn't know each other before meeting on Liberty University's campus. Justin is there on an athletic scholarship, Bryce to study business, Zach hoping to make it into a law program, and Monty because he didn't have anywhere else to be. Starting as freshmen, and ending at graduation, the boys come to understand each other and themselves as they get to experience life without their parents.

JJ Kerba takes a job at Liberty High School after a decade of coaching in college, but quickly learns that high school coaching makes college coaching seem easy. At least it does what you have the seniors he has. They all have different needs and Kerba is apparently the only one willing and able to even try to help them. It's a lot of pressure, especially when some of the boys aren't exactly forgiving of mistakes. He has to try though, because it's clear no one else will.
