Billy had known the man for under an hour, and he’d already decided to do anything necessary to make sure he kept looking at him like this. Flushed, and panting, with a crazed look in his eyes.
He was enraged, and Billy had never wanted someone so badly. Had never really wanted anyone, he was discovering, because if this was want, then he’d never felt it. Whatever he’d felt for everyone else was nothing compared to this.
With the women, he’d known he was pretending. That was always more for the sake of appearances than it was for actual pleasure. But the few men Billy had managed to sneak away with had been good, in the moment. Just enough to confirm what he already knew. He thought that was as good as it was going to get.
But he hadn’t thought he’d ever meet someone like Steve Harrington.

“You don’t know what I want,” Steve spat.
“But you just told me. You want me to leave you the fuck alone.”
Steve’s eyes widened. Surely not. All this time, all he had to do was tell Billy to fuck off? Hadn’t he done that before? Why now was Billy listening? It seemed impossibly easy.
“Next time you want my attention pretty boy, you just come and ask, okay?”
“I’m never going to ask you for attention,” Steve spat. “Never.”
Billy’s pink mouth broke out into a bright grin. “Then I’ll see you never.”
