Summary
Everything in life had patterns.
Patterns were good.
Patterns were necessary.
Patterns were telling.
And Multi learned them all, until a new detective stepped into his morgue, shattering everything he thought he understood.

“Is that— yes!” he stressed, his voice going higher. “Did you look at the video? You hadn't gone through the decontamination, you didn't even leave through the airlock, which is there for something, you know. You just teleported out, like the area isn't filled with radiation.”
Quackity furrowed his eyebrows, getting more and more confused with every word that Multi said.
“Why are you so pressed about this?”
"Oh, I don't know, maybe because now I have to find a cure or you will fucking die.”
OR: Multi is convinced that Quackity has radiations sickness. Quackity isn't so sure.

Summary
So he took another step forward, a swifter one this time, hand already on the handle, cracking open the door, just enough to see a bit of a painting on the opposite wall — the picture almost black, a barely visible white figure on it, its green eyes staring back at Quackity with so much intensity it felt like they were real, alive, looking like they just moved, stealing a breath out of him — before he was sharply shoved away from the entrance, the door immediately clicking shut again.
It all happened in a span of a few seconds, but he was still able to read the text on the painting, the LET ME BE YOUR GOD etched into his mind.
He tried to ignore it, taking a few steps backward, his balance completely off due to the pure strength of the push. When he looked up, Multi was already blocking his view, standing tall in front of him, his calm composure barely nipped at by some kind of anger — or was it frustration? Annoyance, fear, anxiety?
“Don't go in there,” he said, basically spitting out the words.
OR: the conversation that happened on 31st of March between Quackity and Multi, remastered.

Summary
They looked as if they were Quackity’s pride and joy.
He couldn't possibly not envy that.
The sight itself made him want to take the binding off — but he knew that he couldn’t, too aware that once his wings were free, he wouldn’t be able to put it back on for a few hours at least.
So instead of doing that, which would be stupid, he decided to do something even worse.
His hand reached out without control, his fingers slowly touching the top of Quackity’s wings, almost melting at how soft they were — for approximately two seconds, because that’s how long it took for the man to jump away from his touch.
OR: Multi is weirdly fascinated by Quackity's wings. Somehow, it's his wings that end up being taken care of (and some more).

Summary
Multi faltered for a second, “I just— fuck, okay, I haven’t eaten in a while. I can’t exactly go out and hunt, because these fuckass alarms don’t differentiate between me and the clone, so I won’t know if it comes to the lab, and I can’t have him rummaging through my shit while I waste my time eating.”
“You know that you could’ve just asked me to bring you something, right?”
“It has to be fresh. And big enough so that I can get full, because once I start, the hunger is going to get ten times worse.”
“...am I enough?” Quackity asked without a second passing, the question pushing onto his lips before he could really think it through.
But it was, admittedly, something that he wanted.
OR: Multi looks sick, and even though he isn't, Quackity still helps.
