    Summary

“Whoever’s there,” Crowley called out, his voice horribly hoarse and rasping, “fucking go away!”

“Crowley,” Aziraphale said in a loudly quavering voice, lifting his palm to the door and pressing gently as if to reach out and touch the resident inside. His words were so soft, they could’ve been snow, falling silently on undisturbed ground. “Crowley . . . it’s me. Will you please let me in?”

Aziraphale returns to London after realizing the corruption in Heaven cannot be fixed, and seeks out Crowley in an attempt at reconciliation.

    Summary

In the aftermath of the failed Apocalypse, Aziraphale finds there are unseen scars that would never quite wash off. Rather, they linger like scent to skin, markings indelible.

Seeing no other solution, he moves to a cottage in the countryside in an attempt to recover. But there’s something not quite right about it, something that he can’t seem to fix. Above all, there’s also something missing, in the form of a beloved demon he’s had to leave behind.

    Summary

His hands clenched in the angel’s lapels, and that was some kind of miracle in itself, because he could feel The Line trying to prevent it, the holiness of the angel working to repel his advance even as Aziraphale regarded him with mild surprise and walked gently backward into the wall. Now there was this -- this thing crackling between them, trying to push him away like his magnetic opposite, and Crowley was not just hissing but spitting as his mouth watered, his neck flushed, his skin tingled all over.
