"Yes," Lestat answers all three and kisses his neck. Sucks on his breast and the knobs of his collarbone. "Anything."
Louis thinks: I want things to go back to how they used to be. I want for you to have never dropped me from the sky. I want you and Claudia to care for each other again. I want my happiness to derive independently from the feelings of others. I want to die. I want you to love me and just me. I want to never want anything again.
Instead he clutches Lestat close and croons in his ear, "I want a Christmas tree. Get me one?"
