Summary
"Bellamy," she says, she can barely get it out.
But he hears her, because he turns around with a warm smile. He's happy to see me, Clarke thinks. Then she watches his expression shift into something resembling panic as she begins to fall.
He lunges for her, but he can't make it in time. Clarke hits the ground, but she doesn't even feel the impact. Bellamy is over her in a second, asking if she hit her head, holding up fingers. I didn't hit my head, she wants to say, and that's not how you check for a concussion, but there's no time.
All she can make out, as she feels Bellamy's arms around her, pulling up is, "Don't take me to medbay. Don't let anyone see."
"Clarke…" he says, and she knows he wants to fight her on this, but there isn't any time to fight.
"Promise me!" she says. "Promise!" and then she's out before she can hear the answer.
or, a post s2 canon-divergent AU in which clarke after returning to camp (of her own volition), realizes someone is poisoning her and there's only one person she trusts enough to help her find out who.

Summary
Bellamy and Clarke have been English professors in the same department for four years when Bellamy's ex-girlfriend comes to town as a visiting professor. She's been invited to read the short story that all but ruined Bellamy's life. Little does he know that Clarke has a history with Echo too and will do anything to get under her skin. Ensue an elaborate fake dating scheme designed to prove to Echo that she's wrong for what she wrote in her story and that she's wrong for what she did to Clarke.
The only problem? Bellamy and Clarke have been enemies since the day they met. If they're going to convince Echo they're together, then they'll have to get through the next few weeks without fighting. And if that's possible, then who knows what could happen next?

Lincoln sighs, dropping the spoon. “And then?”
Her blue eyes flash. Then the anger fades. “You’re right. If you let me go, I’ll kill you. That’s the way it has to end. For one of us, at least.”
Lincoln lifts the spoon to her mouth. After a moment, reluctantly, she drinks. They do this in silence until the soup is gone. He can see in her eyes that she’s ashamed, that she feels weak, powerless. So he gives her an offering, the only one he can think of. “My name,” he says, “is Lincoln.”
She looks at him, and is he dreaming or is there a ghost of a smile in her eyes? “I’m Octavia.”

Summary
The drive away from the bunker may as well have been the distance from the Ark to the Ground.
Clarke grips the wheel, her mind replaying Bellamy’s face over and over again. She sees his shock, his betrayal, his fear. They play on repeat as a cacophony of ‘together, together, together’ supply the beat. Clarke berates herself for letting Bellamy sneak into her heart so quickly and take over any rational thought. Her fingers tighten on the wheel as if she’s physically telling herself she must stay. She must stay on course. Ever since she let Bellamy back in her life, she’s been like a boat without a rudder, aimlessly drifting to sea while he tells her that he has her back.
And she drifts, making nothing but waves for others to drown in.

Clarke goes back to the bunker to fight for Bellamy's life, even though his words from the day before echo in her mind, reminding her where she really stands. 5x10 alternate because I hear Bellarke didn't interact in tonight's episode and I decided to write stuff.

The battle ended and people who weren’t dead or injured were lining up for the cryogenic chambers.
But Bellamy was still in the church. He didn’t move from the bench next to the cot on which Clarke was laid out. She was nearly as pale as the bandage wrapped around her collarbone.
Damn this woman.
She stirred slightly and he leaned on his forearms. Her eyes found his, emotions scattered across her face. Relief was there, a bit of shock, and some guilt that he recognized all too well.
“Wow,” she breathed out. “I thought that one would have done me in.”
Bellamy didn’t smile, shaking his head and taking the slightest edge of coldness off his glare.
“You took a bullet for me.” he said through gritted teeth. “Don’t ever do that again.”

There was blood everywhere; some of it red, but most of it was black. Bellamy wrinkled his nose at the metallic smell as it filled his nose. Pushing down the reflex to gag, he quickly made his way over to the tent.
“Clarke, stay with me,” he said gruffly, his voice straining as bent down to enter hers and Madi’s tent. She was drifting in and out of consciousness and Bellamy knew the longer he dawdled, the less time she had.
Why did she have to go and get shot?
