“The first merch delivery came today,” Tashi said, her voice smooth and teasing, though her lips quirked into a knowing smile as she ran her hands down the fabric of the shirt. “Thought I’d try one on, see how it fits. What do you think?”
Art’s mouth went dry, his eyes following the slow movement of her hands as they smoothed over the shirt, drawing his attention to the very thing that made his blood surge in his veins—the sight of his face, plastered across her body. Something about it made his heart race, a possessive heat curling in his chest. He had never been a man who cared much for these things, but seeing her wearing him, a symbol of his success, their success, of their life together, and, suddenly, all he wanted was to claim her in a way he’d never felt before.
“I think…” His voice came out rough, low, as he took a step closer, his body moving instinctively toward hers. “You’re going to make me lose my goddamn mind.”
