Beomgyu hums. Another cloud of smoke permeates the air. "Okay," he says simply, "you've got a month."
Yeonjun frowns, confused. His eyebrows twist so close together a dull ache rings through his forehead. "A month... for what?" He asks, hesitant.
Beomgyu gives him a tired, unimpressed glare, like the answer should be obvious. He sighs, shaking his head. His long dark hair moves with him, longer than the last time Yeonjun had seen it. If it grew any longer it would start to dip past Beomgyu's shoulders like a dark, shadowy waterfall. It's kind of mesmerising—like looking away from Choi Beomgyu isn't already hard enough.
"To make me fall in love with you," Beomgyu says simply. "Idiot," he adds afterwards.

What's more frustrating than forbidden love? And what's more unfortunate than it as well? Two gumihos fell in love with each other when the world and the gods ruling it were not happy about it. One of the immortal beings was reduced to black ashes and the other was made to go on with his life alone and forever.
Finally fate takes pity on them and past gumiho Beomgyu is reborn as a human after nearly a thousand years. As if to fulfill his past wish, he falls in love with a gumiho in this life too. However it's not Yeonjun, his past lover that he loves at present but Choi Soobin, Yeonjun's housemate.
