Summary
Mail Jeevas was devoured by curiosity and abandonment; Mihael Keehl was driven by ambition and replacement.
Wammy’s House was where it began. Two boys, forced into stillness, into abandonment, learning each other and only truly having one another. Where innocence, youth, and ethics ran free, childish and sweet. Los Angeles taught them how to survive outside their cages, but not how to remain whole as time and addiction expanded the space between them. New York hollowed them out, sharpening them into seriousness. And Japan… Japan was where everything finally came due.
Between smoke and sugar, silence and violence, Matt and Mello survive. With each other.

Summary
“Um… hello?” Mello said carefully, his English stiff and nervous. “I um. I’m Mello.”
When there was no answer, Mello took a cautious step closer. “You like dogs?”
The other boy hissed—an actual hiss—and a nearby husky barked sharply, echoing his warning. Mello stumbled back, startled. The boy’s lips twitched into something that wasn’t quite a snarl but still felt menacing.
“Okay! Okay, I’ll go!” Mello said, raising his hands. “Peace! Calm!”
He turned to retreat, and that movement triggered the pack instinct. A low growl rippled through the dogs. The boy lunged to quiet them, but Mello panicked, stepping accidentally on the closest one’s paw. When the dog let out a yelped cry, the red-haired boy vaulted in his direction and grabbed wildly at Mello’s sleeve. Teeth sank into his forearm, not deep enough to break skin, but hard enough to sting. Mello cried out, half from pain and half from shock. The wild boy’s eyes showed his fury that Mello had hurt one of his friends. Then, just as suddenly as he’d attacked, he let go and backed away, huffing as another dog pressed against his leg like a guardian.
Mello clutched his arm. “You bit me!”

Summary
Matt keeps his world small, his band, his music, and the quiet spaces in between. It’s easier that way. Easier to ignore the past, the looks, and the people who refuse to let things go.
Mello, on the other hand, is impossible to ignore. Loud, confident, and always surrounded, he lives in a completely different world one Matt has no interest in being part of.
But when those two worlds start to overlap, tension builds where it shouldn’t, lines blur, and some things become harder to ignore than others.
Some dirty little secrets are easier to keep than to face..

Summary
Michael laughs—a thin, breathy sound that immediately turns into a pained groan. He squeezes his eyes shut, jaw tight, then opens them again, glaring. “So what?” he spits. “You’re just gonna keep me here?”
“Yes,” Mike says before he can stop himself.
The word hangs there, heavy. Michael is ramrod straight, looking up at Mike. Really, truly looking; something ugly flickers behind his eyes, and a feral grin grows.
“Wow. So confident.”
Mike stiffens. “I’m not letting you go until I know why you were here.”
Michael’s smile sharpens, mocking voice dripping with venom. “I’d rather die than become your little house pet.”
Or: Mike Schmidt accidentally daddy doms Michael Afton into self-care.

Summary
Matt and Mello root back to Wammy’s house. Wammy’s wasn’t a place you could say you were glad to grow up in; not for them at least. It was a place you couldn’t escape. The pressure to succeed a man they’d never seen and the faith. A believer in God, influenced, and a non-believer. After being separated for years and reuniting to work together on the Kira case the waters change and it won’t end up well.
