“You’re beautiful.” Jake praises, awestruck at how he got so lucky. Albert’s chest is paved with a myriad of gentle shades of dandelion and such, and Jake thinks he might be an actual angel. Glowing heavenly just for him.
“Sap.” Albert breathes, untrusting of the sounds that’ll erupt if he dares to speak more. Though his eyes still hold nothing but infatuation.
And fine, maybe Jake was a sap. More susceptible to such when their bodies were entwined in this hazed state. It was hard not to be though, he loved Albert and Albert loved him back and the proof was all in Albert’s breathless gasps and sizzling body temperature.
“No, If I wanted to go full-sap I’d tell you that you always look beautiful,” Still he denied the fact, “Which you do , by the way.”
Albert takes a day off; Gay shenanigans occur.

The dizzying apprehension on his waist had him fluttering in pulses around the length of Jake. Fingerprints trailed blossoms of dark roses deep into his skin.
Albert couldn’t explain the rush that bloomed deep within at the words, nor the apparent maroon lathering faint over his body. What he did know was that the latter was in fact there , as shown by the mirror across from them.
Albert's got a habit of being a distraction.

Then he settles, “I don’t- I’m a guy.” Not quite sure who he’s really trying to defend himself to here. Nobody’s watching but Jake, and Jake is gentle and all-encompassing. He’s the rounded borders to Albert’s spiky mismatched edges. They fit together like that, like some one-of-a-kind puzzle pieces.
“Okay.” Jake answers, like it’s that simple. Hell, he could fool Albert that it was with that voice.
“Okay.” Albert repeats. He lets out a laugh, like a breath he didn’t know he was holding in.
Albert wants to be pretty.

The moon from the window panes looked effervescent draped all over Jake. Its luminescence clung to the sharp corners of his body and smoothed him out under the shimmering rays. He looked soft like this. He looked like that boy he messaged for the first time in 2011.
