It was just one of those things that didn't have a simple explanation. As surely as the sun rose in the east, Marinette Dupain-Cheng was going to marry Adrien Agreste. That was a fact that Ladybug knew in her heart, and she knew that Chat knew it too. The unspoken acknowledgement surrounded the two of them like a warm, cozy blanket. There was really no need to rush to dating because that next step was always going to be there; they had all the time in the world.
And in the meantime, torturing Alya was really fun.

“I love you,” she whispers.
“I love you, too. Thank god you’re worth it,” he sighs.

Summary
After accidentally saving Chat Noir mid-battle while wearing the Fox Miraculous, Marinette’s identity was obvious to Chat Noir. In no time at all, he started to pester Ladybug until she agreed to let Marinette be a holder again.
Finally, Ladybug relented: on the condition that Marinette work with Chat Noir to test out the limits of the other Miraculous in secret and see what they can come up with together.
Ladybug had gone over every possibility in detail. There was no way anything could go wrong.

The trouble had all started with that first Hamster pic.
When he’d barely fought the urge to smile and linger a few minutes long, Chat Noir had finally decided to snap one quick picture on his baton before heading out to patrol.
It had only taken a few moments of watching Marinette’s eyes sparkle behind the red-spotted mask as she gushed about her “cute little sweetheart” to convince him to snap as many pictures as he could.

Summary
Chat Noir felt like he was getting nowhere with Ladybug. Marinette had to figure out how to finally get over Adrien. So it was kismet when Marinette wandered into an akuma attack where the supervillain bound people together. Chat Noir and Marinette had to talk about their feelings, and found that a kiss was just what they needed to undo the magical link keeping them together. But when video gets of the exchange between the two, Marinette finds herself in the middle of a social media frenzy. Sure, it was nice of Chat Noir to check on her to make sure she was okay, but it was even nicer for the two to share more kisses in private. Now Adrien has to figure out how to deal with falling in love with the girl right behind him, when she has no idea the boy under the mask she kissed was the boy sitting right in front of her.
