Reo was bright, every part of him screamed to be seen, to be heard, like he was still alive and time just stopped for him. But he wasn't, the dark bruises around his neck and the grimly contorted eyes that followed him around made it, so, painfully clear.

They were always together, any annoying event Reo had been forced into, she would always somehow manage to drag Nagi to every single one, obviously during school hours they would be glued to each other, inseparable, soccer and after school they would sit close to each other, Reo would stare at the soft way Nagi's careful fingers tapped across her phone, playfully complain in her ear to get up so that they could practice more, unconsciously holding Nagi close, closer than any person reasonably needs to be.
Too close for anyone else, but Nagi was different. Nagi was HER treasure!!!
