“It’s been a pleasure, gentlemen,” the intruder said somewhat cocky. Chris could sense a grin underneath the mask. “Best watch out for changes ahead if I were you.” The person put two fingers to their head, mockingly saluting the two, before letting themselves fall backwards out of the window. Both Chris and officer Howard lunged forward, wanting to catch a limb or some clothes, but grasped at air. Chris looked down at the person falling, until he didn’t see them anymore. It wasn’t the case of them falling so far down Chris couldn’t physically see them anymore. They had blipped out of existence.
OR: Set in space. Chris and Dom work for the government, the same government Matt has some (read: a lot) of issues with, but soon the three find themselves fighting for the same cause when their leaders try to push an agenda they don't align with.

Based on the horror fest prompt: "Dom's a young teenager i.e. under the age of consent who got bullied quite a lot at his old school in London and due to his anxiety around people as a result, his parents feel they need to give him a new start. They move to a really, really remote old Victorian house in the middle of nowhere, just a village within driving distance. Dom's new room is in the attic, and after a while he starts to realise that Matt, a lonely ghost about his age who's inhabited the house for over a century, has taken an interest in him."
