Summary
In 2011, Takuto Maruki awakens to Azathoth in a fit of desperation. Months later, on the eve of completing his PhD, he awakens to being a father, adopting two wayward children and resolving to nurture their powers as best he can.
What follows is a strange not-quite-family rising from the ashes they have left behind. Goro Akechi fights a war within himself: the Personas scratching at the cage of his soul, made more numerous by the people at his side. Futaba Isshiki struggles to rip through the memory that echoes within her and discover the truth about her mother's death and her own burgeoning abilities. And through it all, the good doctor does his work, actualizing Tokyo into happiness one soul at a time.

Summary
Mitsuru has been doing this for too long. Yukari has been on the periphery of the world she loves for too long.
Critically injured on a Shadow Ops mission, Mitsuru's recovery proves to be slow and deeply painful, with no promises of her ever reaching her previous levels of ability. Yukari rushes to join her through an impulse she can't explain, and the two of them are shipped off to an old Kirijo vacation home in Otaru, Hokkaido, where Mitsuru expects herself to recover gracefully and quickly-- just like everything else she's meant to do.
In which therapy sessions prove to be terrifying beasts in need of slaying, the Kirijo Corporation's crimes are remembered with repressive indifference, tea is brewed, a threshold is crossed, and expectations are reforged.
