Summary
Their little trio lasted until college somehow, even when they went to different schools. Dokja's little crush however, was not as fleeting as he thought it'd be. Rather, he reckoned it grew deeper than a mere crush when he started realizing the need to monopolize Joonghyuk's affection, when he started thinking of a future with him and him alone.
Can one blame him though? He might be biased, but Dokja thinks Joonghyuk acts differently whenever they're alone. And even during their occasional rendezvous, Joonghyuk always managed to make Dokja feel how special he was to him, putting his comfort above anything else.

Summary
Because he who has lived a lifetime too much, knows that when he wakes up, it will be the same Lee Hyunsung and Lee Jihye, but not the Hyunsung and Jihye that he knew.
These people will not know that Hyunsung died to a monster, or that Jihye got slain by a constellation. They will not know that Joonghyuk died and lived again, only to meet the same faces, but not the same person.
But Dokja, when he dies and lives again, will. He will see the same faces of the ones he left behind in his death. His death will not be forgotten in a past life.
His death will still be there, even after he comes back.
He couldn’t find it in him to agree to Dokja’s death. Even after knowing that soon, he’ll come back.
And so, to Dokja’s question about salvation, he, himself, can not find an answer.
