Summary
You should read this because it’s inspired by an Ethel Cain song and it’s about cannibalism!! I know you freaks love some cannibalism.
“ I crouch in front of him. An inch separates us. How can someone be so terrified to be in someone’s company, and still ignore all sense to be left alone? I look into his eyes as he looks into mine. A bloody tear falls silently down his stained, ghastly cheek. My throat tightens painfully, restricting a sob. “My love, my love, you’re going to be okay,” I say hastily as I wipe his face clean. Little does it help. His eyes are so pale of light, so lost in mine, lustful and hungry. My heart hammers in fear of everything, in fear of him, but still I stay. The window brings in the moon's light, illuminating our sides. I never knew blood could look so black under the moonlight, like a pit swallowing up what once was. It sends shivers down my spine.”
