Summary
Abigail’s heart feels like it might beat out of her chest and a a huge smile spreads across her face, relief so palpable coursing through her she can almost taste it. Nick’s alive.
She didn’t kill him.
Her first instinct is to run towards him, but she hesitates just as she’s about to jump off the ambulance. The smile falls off her face when she realizes that he might not want to see her. Not after what she did. So she stays seated, staring instead. Drinking in the sight of him human and well and not dead.

Summary
As a new werewolf, it is important to stay close to your pack. Even if you are not blood related, if your wolves have picked people, stick to them, secure your bond. This bond is instantly strong with blood relatives. The urge to be with one’s pack is lessened roughly forty-eight hours after the full moon.
If the new werewolf does not stay with their pack, they feel symptoms of anxiety; itching, scratching, listlessness, and the constant need to hear and smell their pack. Symptoms can be slightly alleviated by phone calls. Physical touch works better at soothing the symptoms.Chris observes the changes in the counselors as they adjust to life as werewolves.

Summary
Ryan let his breath out in an exasperated groan. A rush of fear was coursing through his system and he was overcome with the need to move, to run, to just do something. The car felt like a cage all of a sudden, trapping him in place so he couldn’t escape the situation. He couldn’t help but wriggle in his seat, just to help with the restlessness.
What were they supposed to do?
How could they possibly explain what had happened to Kaylee and Chris Hackett?
Wild animals? Rabies? It was such a bad explanation that there was no way the police would believe them.
But the truth?
Werewolves?
Maybe they shouldn’t have called the cops?
