He thought of the road, shitty motels with moldy ceilings, he thought of cheap diners, and dingy roadside bars. He thought of ghosts in old abandoned houses and shapeshifters in vents. He though of killing hitler and a suicidal teddybear. He thought of Cas, who was alive and presumably well after Jack had pulled him from the Empty.

Or : Months after Jack declares earth natural, Dean is plunged into a depression as he struggles with the loss of his life's purpose. After running away from Sam's supervision, he crashes into what he thinks is a real case in a small northern town, to which he pulls Castiel along for one last rodeo.
