Summary
When the full moon rises, and Kaguya-hime shines her brilliant light upon Edo Japan, the beasts and yokai come out to play. Sakamoto Ryoma isn't superstious but the people of Kyo are. With foreigners bringing their diseases, war and goods from across vasts oceans, and old myths coming to light before the people's eyes, Ryoma takes it upon himself to find out what is going on. Is it a man in a wolf's skin? Is it a mountain dwelling Yokai? Or is it something akin to the both of them, not man, not legend, but Beast?
