He was still restless, fidgeting, eyes on high alert. He felt like a caged beast, limbs aching to run and defend his territory. But alas, he was but a simple human detective with a simple godlike tiger inside him. And today was his day off. He grinned as he bounced out of bed and headed to the shower.

Summary
The mission had been a success, which was hardly a surprise. Akutagawa had barely a scratch on him, and the tiger had stitched Atsushi back together as if he was just a ripped teddy bear. All the lackeys guarding the strange chemical lab had been bested, disappointedly within the ADA’s ridiculous boundaries, but bested none the less. Now all they had to do was gather some evidence for the report. Rashomon lifted a white rag off the ground that had been soaked by the strange clear liquid they were manufacturing, elegant black tendrils twisting and swirling until the cloth was presented to the young detective who was peeling himself off the ground.
“Weretiger smell this. Do you have any knowledge to what chemical this might be?”

5 times Akutagawa knocks Atsushi out with Chloroform and one time Atsushi knocks him out right back. (Inspired by the Chloroform scene from Community.)

But it could also be amusing, how the traits hung off of him like an upside down bat. That’s what Beast Boy thought anyway, as he watched him spread out all his “evidence” at the breakfast table and lose himself in random photos and notes. He wasn’t totally sure what had caught his fearless leader’s interest, but Robin looked about ten seconds away from needing a ball of red string. He took a big sip of his soy milk, turning his attention back to his tofu scramble. Which is exactly the moment Robin decided to throw a grenade into the calm of the morning.
“I think Raven is dating someone.”

Star was laughing next to her, stacking her tray with a few reds, a few whites. He was sure Robin was buzzing around like a high strung bumblebee making sure all the staff was in the right places and on schedule.
