He only glanced Enji’s way for a moment before turning his attention back to his client, but that’s all Enji needed to see.
The boy gets his money through his charisma rather than his knowledge. He says what his clients want to hear, whether it’s keening praise or dazzling charm. All Enji feels when he’s around the boy is irritation, and somehow the kid is always paired with someone within ear-shot of Enji. Always.
