    Raw, gutteral screams rip through the quite of night in Steve and Bucky's home. Bucky's body is locked tight, all muscles tensed as he screams into the muted light of their bedroom. Steve's voice tries to drown the sound out.

    "Bucky! Wake up Buck, c'mon open your eyes!" Frantic, panicked words fly from his mouth as he wakes with a start, his hands finding Bucky in the twisted mess of blankets.

    Bucky's eyes fly open, and his body rockets out of bed, a knife held tightly in his left hand, snarl on his face. "Where am I?"

    Was… was Steve Rogers, Captain of the Massachusetts Rugby Team, winner of ten US Cups, the literal epitome of a silver fox, actually flirting with him?
    “Sweetheart?” Steve continued and Bucky released a shaky breath. Steve’s smile grew and his eyes flicked to Bucky’s lips. “You like that, huh?” He stood in Bucky’s space, biting his lip and crowding even closer. “Like being called sweet things?”

     

    Bucky’s first season with the New York Rugby Club has come to an end, and he thought the adventure was over until next season.
    That was, at least, before Steve Rogers - Bucky’s walking wet dream - came strolling into the locker room, giving him all sorts of mixed signals.
