And despite the constant urge to bite into Mack’s neck and shift their relationship to more, Will didn’t. He respected the boundaries which Mack had placed when they had started their whole ‘friends-with-benefits’ relationship during their first season. And since Mack hadn’t suggested anything more between them, Will was fine to continue with how things were, because, as was mentioned before, at least he got part of the omega that no one else did. That was enough to have his alpha tamed into contentment.
Until, well, things changed. And Will’s alpha could no longer just sit back and allow things to continue the way they started spiralling to.

Mack and Will are friends-with-benefits who don’t communicate properly. Mack wants a pup, but he thinks that Will doesn’t so he starts to pull away. (They’re both idiots in love).
