He’s infuriating. Everything he does is absolutely infuriating. The way his hair falls so messily into his eyes and yet still manages to look perfect, the way his gloved hands card through his own hair so effortlessly and the auburn locks fall back into flawless disarray.
He knows he doesn’t really hate him.
He hates the way Julian reminds him of what he’s lost. The person he loves. He wants to push Julian until he breaks, until he hates him.“You can’t ignore me forever, you know.” He finally speaks, quiet but venomous.
“I know.” Comes the quiet reply. Julian doesn’t lower his book.
“Are you that intent to try?”
“I am.”
