Summary
“When I couldn’t sleep after my mother died, my father used to sit up with me,” Asami says after several minutes, and feels Korra’s arms tighten around her. “One time, he didn’t have any business calls or anything else to do, and it wasn't too late, so he put on the radio, and I wanted to dance. My mother used to dance with me when I was really little. But I think the memory hurt him too much, so he turned the music off and I didn’t ask to dance again.”
Korra pulls back slightly to look at her, reaching out to brush Asami’s tears away. “I have an idea.”
Or
Asami is kept awake by grief, so Korra stays up with her and things take a slightly unexpected turn.
