"As I was saying, Wilbur, I know you may find this uncomfortable, but I'll need you to relax for this process. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. We are alone, and I am only here to help you. Understand?"
Wilbur tries not to nod so enthusiastically- so desperately- and he definitely fails. "Yes, Doctor. I- I understand."
Tommy brushes one of the wires with gentle fingers, and Wilbur nearly short-circuits. The incessant beeping of the monitor betrays him. Tommy doesn't even comment on it.
"Right then, let's see if we can get that heart rate up, shall we?"

Wilbur's heart hasn't been beating quite right since his revival. Naturally, Tommy exploits that insecurity for both of their pleasures.

"Show me?"
Wilbur doesn't move an inch- not as far as Tommy can see, at least- but he does let out a barely audible, shaky sigh.
"It's...different," he mumbles, and Tommy wants to hold him and squeeze until every sliver of anxiety melts away. "Not- not too different, but..."
"You don't have to explain, Will. If you love it, I'll love it more. I'll love it because it's you."
At first, when Wilbur makes no move to open the door, Tommy genuinely thinks they're going to buy this sight unseen. He thinks he'll have to slowly coax Wilbur into actually wearing it, building up his confidence day after day until he finally gives in. It's not ideal, but it isn't so bad, either. It's a start.
Tommy is just about to tell Wilbur that it's okay, that they can cross that bridge later, but his words fall flat when the fitting room door swings open.
"...oh."

Tommy takes Wilbur shopping for some much-needed new clothes, which may very well be the most difficult task he's ever faced. On top of all that, he simply cannot be normal about the outfit Wilbur ultimately picks out.
