Despite its arid hills, snow-kissed lakes and glacial winds, some individuals would still describe Nod Krai as a land of warmth. Only this warmth is found within the hearts of its people, in the love shared between them. It is ever present in their lives, keeping them safe from the otherwise deadly and isolating cold.
Even when this love is more akin to a dance between two souls where neither dare to touch the other lest they scald themselves. Or so Lumine’s friends would say after watching the way the youngest of the Harbingers’ trails after her in quiet awe. Someday, perhaps she’ll be convinced to turn around.
Or the five times someone noticed Childe was in love with Lumine (and the one time she did).
