Summary
Everything about where Zhang Hao is right now- sitting on the floor next to his boyfriend, surrounded by boxes, in the bedroom of the apartment they’re going to live in together- has a distinct dream-like quality to it. The sun shining in on them through the large, floor-to-ceiling glass windows feels too beautiful and bright, the sounds of the traffic below aren’t annoying enough, and the aches he should feel throughout his body after carrying boxes are suspiciously absent.
And that’s not even getting into the fact that the entire situation itself just feels like it’s something that shouldn’t be real. Hao prides himself on his ability to be logical, and to understand things at their heart as straightforwardly as possible. As much of a dream winning Boys Planet and debuting was, he also knew the hard work and natural skills that had made it possible, the steps he had taken that led him to defeat all the odds. Moving into a gorgeous apartment with a view of the Han River with his perfect boyfriend and equally perfect dog? That’s harder for him to accept as reasonable.

“So this is a Hanbin anniversary,” Hao finally says, voice filled with suspicion. He jabs a finger in Hanbin’s face, which Hanbin promptly grabs and bites. “One of your inner ones that I don’t know about. You want anniversary photos for an anniversary I don’t know about.” Hanbin just smirks. He does that sometimes; celebrates things that were meaningful to him in their relationship that Hao isn’t aware of. He’ll only tell Hao when they happen, pulling him close in bed and whispering something like today is the first day I knew I was going to be with you forever. They’re always so much earlier in their love story than Hao thinks, and they take his breath away every time. “Fine. Give me an hour.”
Hanbin wants couple photos for an anniversary Hao doesn't know about. The members make it happen.

Zhang Hao is still happy.
“I’m so selfish, Hanbin-ah.”
Hao whines, fearing he’s just too lucky for this world.
“… Is it really okay to be this happy?”
