Summary
Fantasy AU. Our world is rebuilding itself from the aftermath of an apocalypse, resulting in a very different order to things. Angels are gone, the only trace left of them is the planet’s devastation, the lineage they left behind in their Nephilim children, and fables most humans don’t even believe anymore. That is, until Gabriel is pulled into a war, sending Castiel three countries away to warn them, only to leave him stranded there with no way to get back.
Castiel finds trouble of his own, trying to steal a spell from a witch. Cursed, he is forced to find a way back to Gabriel by tagging along with a group of humans. He does not understand their customs, but he likes them much more than he ever expected.
Castiel had one job - deliver a message to John Winchester. Who knew one simple task would take him worlds away, through many challenges, and change his life forever? Not even Gabriel saw that coming.

"Right," Dean says eventually, gruffly. He looks down at his shoes. "I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life, man. It's—you know, yours. Do your thing, love who you love, whatever. I can't really stop you from loving me, if that's what you've decided to do, but I don't—I can't—"
"I know," Castiel murmurs, still just smiling a little, not looking heartbroken at all. "Don't worry about it, Dean, that's all I ask."
"So we're—" Dean risks a glance up, swallowing thickly. "We're good?"

Summary
After growing up dirt poor, Dean Winchester seemingly has it all—brains, good looks, and multi-million dollar hotel chain. The one good outcome of a disastrous marriage was his son. With Dean’s busy schedule leaving it impossible for his son to attend regular school, Dean has to find a tutor that is willing travel across the globe with Dean and his son.
Castiel hated his job at the ritzy private high school tending to the spoiled brats of the rich and famous. He liked the simple things. The small ad in the paper caught his eye – travel, tutoring a young child – it seemed perfect. Only his new boss was fascinating and totally off limits.
Dean knew his son’s teacher was forbidden fruit, but damn, he was sinfully hot. As they travel to different cities around the world, the two men fight their growing attraction.
Castiel adores the boy in his charge and showers him with all the affection he was denied as a child. Will the three become a family?

Summary
On his 40th birthday, Dean Winchester suddenly begins to worry that he may have lost his chance for a real mate. He's been so focused on his business as a 24-hour roofing and repairman, that he's never taken the time to date properly, or even make any lasting friendships outside of his family. Beginning in their late 30's, alphas and omegas start to lose their mating and bonding hormones, making it more difficult - and often impossible - to mate or bond with anyone past a certain age. But as a modern Alpha, Dean would be content with a companion, at least. Blood bonds aren't the be-all, end-all. However, after a late night emergency roofing repair call from Castiel Novak, Omega, Dean starts to hope. Yearn. The only hangup is that Castiel admits to being as old-fashioned as the books he teaches. Nervous to go against his religious upbringing by being with someone who he can't bond properly, as alphas and omegas are intended to do. But he can't deny his attraction to Dean, and despite his sensibilities, he thinks that, just maybe, he can change for the man he's falling in love with.
