Far from home, a child of Earth was spat out. Here, he is resurrected, emerged into a new world.

(Three years in to the journey to Erid, there is something so bright and big in the Hail Mary’s path that it triggers an automatic shutdown of their engines.
When they stop, there is nothing bright there. In the center of where this anomaly would have been, there is a submarine. An improbable submarine, and the even more improbable person inside of it. He is far from home, praying for safety in his dreams, where he floats in the water of kind oceans and hears his mother spin bedtime stories. He wants, with all his being, to be saved.
Someone is listening. Someone is re-writing his story.
Someone gives him Grace.)

He sips into his mug... Blegh.
The coffee tastes like battery acid, but it really is the only thing keeping his eyes open.
Then the comm crackles.

Phenomaman’s voice, flat as a gravestone.
“I would like to learn about intercourse from a human person.”

summer 51' - After an *embarrassingly* public disagreement with Satelite-Officer Jean Vicquemare, Lieutenant Kim Kitsuragi is assigned as Double-Yfreitor Harry Du Bois's permanent partner. As Detective Du Bois contends with his feelings towards the Lieutenant - now unavoidable due to their constant close proximity - Lieutenant Kitsuragi must tackle the startling resemblance that his new partner holds to a previous partner, and dear dead friend.
Spring 46' - When three little bodies wash up on the bank of the Esperance, Lieutenant Dominique Conduvoir of the 57th's Homicide Division requests the liaison of Juvenile Crime's most experienced officer: Detective Kim 'pinball' Kitsuragi.
