He woke up with a groan, a sizzle of pain racing up his spine as he moved. God, his ass fucking throbbed.
“I think you broke me,” Buck mumbled into the pillow his face was smushed into.
Eddie laughed from where he sat beside Buck, scrolling on his phone as he enjoyed the peaceful morning and waited for Buck to wake up. He didn’t look even remotely sorry, a smug grin on his lips.
Or, Buck challenges Eddie and Eddie takes said challenge. It causes their relationship to be revealed in a rather unique way.

The key turned in the door and then Eddie was unlocking the door and shoving his way into Buck’s apartment. Buck let out a sigh of relief, like he always did when he saw Eddie and knew that he was alive and well, and grabbed the second beer, holding it out to Eddie.
“Thanks,” Eddie said, tossing his keys onto the counter as he took a sip. He glanced at Buck’s shirt and then promptly choked on the beer in his mouth.
“Are you okay?” Buck asked, panicked. He set his beer down and reached for Eddie but Eddie just waved him off.
“I’m okay, I’m okay,” He rasped, his voice hoarse. “Where did you get that shirt?”
Or, the one where Buck wears a shirt with a specific meaning and Eddie kind of spirals about it.
