   Summary

   About two blocks from Grover Cleveland Middle School sits Grounds for Change, a fusion cafe/environmental justice organization that boasts clientele from big science minds to the humble undergrad cramming for a final. And the employees are no less interesting. They range from the hippie-dippie climate activist owners to their newest, clumsiest barista— you, a novelist trying to pay for grad school. It’s your first day, and as luck would have it, one mildly-fucked up coffee order later, you’re administering Benadryl to Dr. Ryland “I kinda forgot I have a mild tree nut allergy” Grace. As the sun grows dimmer and the shots of espresso flow, you find yourself falling more and more for your favorite customer…
