Summary
Mal and Lyra were survivors long before the world ended. So when the Zeds outbreak forced them into an alliance of convenience, they didn't just get by, they thrived - and weren't squeamish about getting their hands dirty to do it. But no matter how well the pair worked together, Lyra in particular was determined never to let herself get too attached. Mal understood. They lived comfortably in a world where neither had to confess to feeling, or wanting, anything more than lusty nights and another sunrise.

“I was checking on you.” Came the indignant answer a moment later, as a familiar dandelion puff of white hair emerged. “I thought maybe you’d been swallowed by a lake monster or something.”My not-very-reformed pirate Tav goes to bathe in a nearby lake one night, and Astarion follows her looking to instigate a bit of fun. Kinktober prompt fill. There's nudity but there's not actually any smut in this fic because they decided they'd both rather be gremlins.
